What Is Business of Soul?
Most of us spend our lives learning how to build careers, businesses, families, wealth, influence, and reputations.
Very few of us are taught how to steward them.
Business of Soul begins with a different question.
What if everything entrusted to us is exactly that, an entrustment?
Our time is entrusted.
Our relationships are entrusted.
Our abilities are entrusted.
Our resources are entrusted.
Even our challenges are entrusted.
If that is true, then success cannot be measured only by what we accumulate. It must also be measured by how faithfully we steward what has been placed in our care.
Business of Soul is an institution built around that idea.
It exists to cultivate faithful stewardship across every part of life: personally, professionally, relationally, financially, intellectually, and spiritually.
It is not defined by a single organization, profession, technology, or initiative. Those are expressions of its work, not its identity.
Its identity is the faithful stewardship of everything (G-d; literally "The Name" — the way G-d is referred to in reverence.) entrusts to humanity.
That purpose is expressed through ideas, relationships, institutions, practical tools, and enduring works that help stewardship become a lived reality.
Its Foundation establishes the principles that guide it.
Its Canonical Essays illuminate those principles in practice.
Its Commentaries examine them through reflection.
Its Stories show them lived.
Its work seeks to translate enduring principles into faithful daily practice.
Business of Soul does not offer a method for becoming more productive.
It offers a framework for becoming more faithful.
Its ambition is not merely to help people do more.
Its ambition is to help people become better stewards of everything (G-d; literally "The Name" — the way G-d is referred to in reverence.) has entrusted to them.
Faithful stewardship shapes better decisions.
Better decisions strengthen relationships.
Stronger relationships build enduring institutions.
Enduring institutions leave the world more prepared for the revelation of the (The Divine Presence dwelling openly within the world.) than when they entered it.
That is the work of Business of Soul.
